In 2016, the teacher and non-teacher appointments made by WBSSC were cancelled by the Supreme Court due to corruption and irregularities.

First the job was lost
Now the salary has to be returned along with interest
He said that the Supreme Court did not say anywhere in its order that such candidates cannot apply again.
