Initially, people took it lightly.Everyone thought it was just a coincidence, but the police suspected that it was not a case of mere coincidence but of some well-planned gang.
Investigation revealed that this work is done by two women from Alwar, who are not common partners but are two wives of the same man.Together, they would board taxis, behave friendly with other passengers, and then make off with jewellery and cash when they got the chance.
How were the accused women caught?
In this case, the police made the CCTV footage their biggest weapon. While examining the footage, the police identified the suspicious women. After this, the police arrested the people of the Bavaria community.Took help from those who recognized these women and told that they are residents of Alwar and have been involved in theft incidents earlier also.
The police also found out through mobile tracking that these women were present in Jhunjhunu during the crimes. Finally, the police arrested them near Pilani, from where they had gone to Churu after the theft.
The strange combination of love and theft
The most interesting twist in this case came when the police came to know that both the women were the wives of the same man named Sher Singh.Sher Singh claims that he does social work in his village. But the police are trying to find out whether he was involved in these theft incidents.
Both wives have four children each, and they all live in the same house as a family. It is not clear at the moment whether Sher Singh was aware of his wives’ activities or not.
