Father’s Heartbreaking Plea as 18-Year-Old Mamta Goes Missing from Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan

In the quiet village of Gudha in Jhunjhunu district, a family is living through their worst nightmare. Their 18-year-old daughter, Mamta Kumari, has suddenly gone missing from home. The entire household is devastated and anxious, hoping for her safe return.

Outside the Gudha police station, Mamta’s father, Rohitdas, stands with tears in his eyes and a heavy heart, pleading for justice and the safe return of his daughter. The family believes Mamta was forcibly taken away. The police are investigating, but for now, the family waits desperately.

The Painful Story of Mamta’s Disappearance

The incident happened a few days ago in the Khenag Bastī area under Gudha police station. Mamta was just 18 years old and was sleeping peacefully at home. Her mother last saw her around 3:30 AM that night. Everything seemed normal — family members were sleeping in different rooms.

Rohitdas shared that he had finished sweeping the house around midnight and then went to sleep in a separate room along with his two sons and his daughter-in-law’s mother. His elder son and daughter-in-law were in another room.

Around 4 AM, Mamta’s mother woke up to find Mamta missing from her bed. At first, they thought she might have gone out for the bathroom, but when she didn’t return for a long time, the family’s worry grew. They asked neighbors and searched nearby houses but found no trace.

Even after waiting until 9 AM, there was still no sign of Mamta. Fear began to grip the family — they suspected someone had abducted her.

A Loving Family’s Despair

Mamta’s family is very poor. They survive by farming and daily wage labor. Despite their struggles, they raised Mamta with love and care. She was a well-behaved, simple girl who never caused trouble.

Her father insists she had no bad relationships or any reasons to run away. The family was even planning her marriage soon, hoping for a bright future. This sudden disappearance has shattered all their hopes.

Father’s Agonizing Appeal

Rohitdas hasn’t eaten properly in two days and wanders tirelessly in search of his daughter. As a father who raised her with everything he could offer, he is heartbroken.

He keeps pleading,

“Daughter, wherever you are, please come back home. No one will scold you. If you like someone, we will arrange your marriage according to your wishes. We may be poor, but nothing is more important than your happiness.”

His eyes filled with tears reflect the pain and helplessness of a parent willing to do anything to bring his daughter home.

Mamta’s mother, already unwell, is worsening due to this tragedy. The whole family is in shock, waiting only for Mamta’s return.

Suspicions of Abduction: The Family Points to a Known Person

The family suspects a man who worked on their house construction about 1.5 years ago. He is a distant relative — the son of the brother-in-law of their brother-in-law.

According to Rohitdas, the man was often drunk, behaved inappropriately, demanded vegetables, and even made disrespectful remarks about Mamta’s mother in front of her.

The family asked him to leave about a year and a half ago, but he kept coming back, especially during local weddings, under the pretext of visiting for tea.

Six months ago, the man allegedly threatened Mamta, saying he would “take her away.” The family didn’t pay much attention then, thinking it was a drunken rant, but now they remember this threat clearly.

When the family tried to contact the man, his phone was switched off and later they found he had changed his SIM card, deepening their suspicions.

The family has registered an FIR and urges the police to find the man and bring Mamta back safely.

A Message to Mamta: Your Family Awaits You

If Mamta is reading this somewhere, her parents, siblings, and everyone at home are desperately waiting for her return. Her mother’s health is fragile and has worsened without her daughter.

Her father says,

“Even if you made mistakes, we will forgive you. We just want you back. We raised you with love and dignity. We will respect your choices and get you married to the person you like. Your safety and happiness are all we want.”
