Recently, a heart-wrenching incident has come to light in the Nawalgarh area of Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan, which has shaken the entire area.In a video, it can be seen that a farmer was returning home on his tractor, when some people brutally attacked him.This incident has not only caused outrage among locals but also raised questions about security arrangements. The victim, Ramavatar, was seriously injured in the attack and is currently undergoing treatment at SMS Hospital in Jaipur.
Horrific incident caught on camera
The incident occurred two days ago between 8:20 and 8:22 p.m. in the Dhima Ki Dhani area of Totpura village in the Nawalgarh subdivision. Ramavatar was returning home on his tractor. The tractor was moving slowly in first gear when a car came from the front and stopped in his path.
Four men got out of the car and attacked him without warning. One of the attackers struck him in the face with a sharp weapon. The attack was so swift and brutal Ramavatar fell from the tractor. At that moment, the tractor wheel passed over him, leaving him seriously injured.
After the attack, the accused thought Ramavatar was dead. They fled the scene in their cars, leaving Ramavatar lying in a pool of blood on the road.
Who is Ramavatar? The Simple Life of a Farmer
Nawalgarh Tractor Attack Ramavatar is a simple farmer from Totpura village. He earns his living from farming, and his primary source of income is a tractor.He is survived by his elderly mother, wife, and two young children. His father has already passed away, so the responsibility of the entire family rests on his shoulders.
According to family members, Ramavatar had no quarrels or disputes with anyone. He was a calm person who minded his own business. This incident has left his entire family in deep shock.
Serious injuries and struggle in hospital
Ramavatar suffered deep injuries to his face, including around his eyes and in his neck. The tractor wheels that ran over him caused fractures and internal injuries to several parts of his body.
He was rushed to the hospital immediately after the incident and then admitted to SMS Hospital in Jaipur. Doctors say his condition remains critical. The family says he is unable to speak and has not been able to eat anything since the attack.

According to the family, four people were involved in the attack. Two of them have been identified—
Poon Singh (Sarpanch, Chilri village): The family alleges that Poon Singh, the Sarpanch representative of the Chilri village panchayat, is one of the main attackers.
Bhagirath (Contractor): The second accused is said to be Bhagirath, a contractor by profession.
Two Unidentified Individuals: According to the family, there were two other individuals with them who have not yet been identified.
Family members say two cars were used in the attack—one belonging to Poon Singh and the other to Bhagirath. The accused arrived at the scene in these cars and fled after the crime.

Ramavatar’s family says they had no dispute with the accused. There was no previous quarrel or animosity. The family is at a loss to understand why someone would attack with such hatred.
Poon Singh’s side:
Meanwhile, the accused Sarpanch, Poon Singh, has dismissed all the allegations as completely false and a political conspiracy. He said, “I have nothing to do with this incident.I was not present at the scene when the incident occurred. If there was any dispute between the tractor and the vehicle on the road regarding the side of the road, it could have been resolved through discussion. This is all being done against me for political reasons.”
Eyewitness testimony:
Vijaypal, a relative of the victim, said that the car blocked the tractor from the front, and a dispute ensued over the parking space. The accused then got off the tractor, pulled Ramavatar off the tractor, and began beating him. One of them even attacked him with a weapon. This all happened within minutes.
Amidst these contradictory statements, only police investigation will reveal the truth as to why this attack took place and what was the real reason behind it.
Demand for police investigation and justice
The morning after the incident, Ramavatar’s family filed a police report. The family alleges that the police have not taken any concrete action so far, and they did not even initially inspect the scene.
The family and villagers are demanding that the police arrest the accused as soon as possible and ensure a fair investigation into the case. They want:
