DRDO Internship 2025 Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has given internship opportunities to science and engineering students in various labs for 2025. Applications for some labs have closed, while other labs still have opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility: Final year B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc (Engineering or Physical Sciences) students from recognized institutes in India.
Minimum Academic Record: Minimum 60% marks or 6.5-7.5 CGPA required in most labs.
Age Limit: Generally below 28 years (In some labs this limit may be 25 years).

Stipend and Duration:

Stipend: ₹5,000 per month.
Internship Duration: Most internships are for 6 months.

Highlights:

The application window for internships at DRDL (Hyderabad) and LRDE (Bengaluru) closed on 14 July 2025.
Labs like DMSRDE (Kanpur) and DIPR (Delhi) still have applications open.
Eligibility: Final year B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc students.
Stipend: Up to ₹5,000 per month.
The application process is mostly offline – apply via Speed Post or Email.

Application Process:

The process of applying for DRDO internship is usually as follows:
Download the Internship Notification by visiting the official website of DRDO (Click HERE) or the website of the concerned lab.
Fill the form and attach the following documents:
Copies of mark sheets.
ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN/College ID).
Passport size photo.
Reference letter or NOC from college.
Send the application form to the address of the concerned lab by Speed Post / Hand Delivery or Email (whichever is mentioned in the notification of that lab).

Selection Process:

Shortlisting is done based on academic performance.
Selected candidates are informed via email or phone.
There may also be an interview or interaction round.

NOC issued by the college.
Undertaking forms.
