UDAIPURWATI, RAJASTHAN – July 7, 2025 – After staying dry for many years, the Katli Nadi has started flowing strongly again due to heavy rainfall in the Udaipurwati area. This sudden rise in water has caused big problems, washing away important village roads, especially in Bagholi village.
In the last few days, continuous heavy rain has changed the situation in the region. Rivers and streams, including the Katli Nadi, are now overflowing. The strong water flow has damaged many rural roads that connect the villages.
Bagholi village has suffered the most damage. Reports say that a newly built road, which cost crores of rupees, has been completely washed away by the strong current of the Katli Nadi. Pictures from the spot show big holes and broken parts where the road used to be. Now, villagers are facing many difficulties in travelling and transporting goods.
People in Bagholi are shocked and worried. “We haven’t seen the Katli Nadi flow like this in decades,” said one resident who didn’t want to be named. “The road was built just recently, and now it’s gone. Daily travel will be very difficult for us.”
Officials are checking the full damage. Early reports say that it will take a lot of time and money to rebuild the roads. Until then, emergency services and supply of essential goods will face big problems. Repair work will start once the water level goes down and conditions become safe.
This incident shows how nature can be unpredictable, especially during extreme weather. As the monsoon season continues, local people and the administration are staying alert for more rain and possible floods.
