5 accused arrested The police of Jhunjhunu district has taken an important action and has succeeded in arresting an organized gang of thieves. Incidents of theft are continuously happening in the city In order to curb this, the police conducted a special operation under which five accused were arrested. This arrest is not only a relief for law and order, but also strengthens the sense of security among the city residents.

The whole case is related to the theft of electric wires. Mahesh Kumar, a local contractor, informed the police that unknown thieves stole electric wires from his rented place on Nasi Road. The incident took place on the night of July 15 and 16, and the thieves used a pickup van to carry away the wires.

As soon as the information was received, the police started the investigation without wasting any time. Due to the hard work and vigilance of constable Praveen Kumar, the police got important clues, on the basis of which five suspects were arrested.Arrested from Pilani area. All the accused were produced in the court, from where they have been sent to police custody till 28 July 2025.

Among them, Anil Dhanak is already a notorious criminal registered in the police records. 7-8 cases are already registered against him. The police believe that Anil is the main leader of this entire gang and interrogation of him may reveal many other thefts as well.
Stolen goods and direction of investigation
Police estimate that the value of the stolen goods could be between Rs 5 to 7 lakh. Most of it includes electric copper wires. Also, the police is also investigating whether this gang was stealing wires or other goods from farmers’ fields as well.
